Finals, finals, finals...

This week has been crazy busy. I'm currently taking college courses online, and it's broken up into spring 1 and spring 2. Well this week spring 1 finals were going on, and between my business law class and my political science class, I had more than enough work to do, along with being a stay at home mom to 3 kiddos. Mother nature also decided to take a dump for the 3rd week in a row, causing our kids schools to be closed for most of the week. My attention has not been anywhere near this blog. I have turned in my last final for the classes, and this is exactly how I feel...

Spring 2 starts Monday, my class load won't be as heavy was it was for spring 1. Yesterday I threw out my back, so I rushed to the chiropractor and had an adjustment made. Lucky me, I am only 31 and have arthritis in my spine, as well as degenerative disk disease. It was discovered in 2013, when i thought I had a herniated disk from weight lifting, the amount of pain this brings me sometimes brings me to tears.

I do have a few posts that are brewing right now, such as a new discovery to helping our 4 year old who has Autism and a horrible time getting to sleep and staying to sleep at night, we've wound up ditching the melatonin and noticed he's sleeps a lot better than before. I'll work on that either Monday or Tuesday. Also, I got a box from Influenster that I'll review the contents of, so stay tuned.

Until then, enjoy day light savings time that starts tomorrow, unless you're like me and you just re-set your clocks the next day. ;)

Conair 3q Infinity Pro hair dryer

Truth is, I have really thick hair. By thick I mean when I get my haircut, I ask to have it thinned out and within a month, it's super thick again. When we moved back to the states from Italy in 2011, I had to get an American hair dryer to fit the outlets, my mom took me to Ulta for the first time and I was able to test out hair dryers before purchasing a trusty ole Conair. Fast forward to February 1, 2015, I purchased the Conair Infinity Pro 3Q hair dryer. I had read reviews online about the speed of drying hair, the brushless technology, and quite frankly, I'm loyal to Conair. When I purchased it at Target, I was able to use my red card and save 5%, but still, at $119 for the dryer, I was still a bit in sticker shock. I told my husband that this better dry my hair like a champ or I'm going to be really irritated. Luckily on Amazon, the dryer is now $79, money saver!!

My daily hair routine typically consists of this: wash hair, wait 1 hour to let hair air dry, then blow dry my hair for 30-40 min all while getting a cramp in my hand. Yeah, not the most ideal way to spend part of my morning doing my hair, but if I don't it's not a pretty sight. I was in a rush and dreaded having to blow dry my hair right out of the shower the first time I used the 3Q, but I had no other choice. Y'all, my hair was FULLY dried in 15 minutes, yes, 15 minutes! I even had time to pull of the styling nozzle and blast my hair with COLD air to set it. No more frizzy mess after blow drying, just straight, sleek hair.

The blow dryer is a bit louder, but the force of air that comes out of it is absolutely amazing. I like to style my hair as I dry it, and it took a few tries to get it right to keep my hair from flying off the brush, but I got it to work for me and not only do I have a reduced drying/styling time, but my arms and hands thank me! It does come with a styling nozzle and diffuser to attach onto the dryer, which is VERY easy compared to the one I had before. The only complaint I have about it, is the switches for on/off, high/low, hot/med/cool are where you'd put your hand, and at times I wind up flicking a switch while I'm drying my hair, maybe a relocation of the switches to the top or side of the dryer would work best. I do have to say though, operating the switches are a lot better than the previous hair dryer I had, so I'll give it credit for having easier on/off switches.

Overall, it's an amazing hair dryer and well worth the purchase! I'm going to use this thing until it just can't work anymore.

*Note, I was not asked to review this product. Conair did not send me this product or compensate me for my review. This is my own personal review on a product I bought with my own money.
